Founder’s Projects

Rick Diamond, along with his company Diamond Delivery, have given back to many amazing charities and groups. In 2012, Rick’s Heart Foundation became an official Canadian Registered Charity and we are still in the process of moving the financial support of these Charities from Diamond Delivery to Rick’s Heart Foundation.

Nightshift Street Ministries

Diamond Delivery sponsors a monthly pizza night, continuously for 10 years,  to feed the homeless in the Whalley area at Nightshift Ministries. Thank you to Diamond Delivery Staff member Jeannine and her mom for taking the time to hand out the pizza and help make many people feel taken care of. In past years we have purchased an RV for their “Care Bus”, supported their local events and provided complimentary shipping services when needed.

Operation Nicaragua

Diamond Delivery has provided the Operation Nicaragua Project (Kamloops Firefighters Charity) and the people of Nicaragua with equipment to improve the lives of thousands of children. Diamond Delivery has also been a financial contributor to make these projects a reality. In the past, Diamond Delivery sent a full playground that is now a permanent fixture in a community in Nicaragua enjoyed by many children daily!

Make A Wish

The mission of Make-A-Wish® Canada is to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Diamond Delivery staff have worked hard and raised funds to grant two wishes so far. They are currently working to raise funds to grant their third wish.

Union Gospel Mission

Diamond Delivery contributes to the Union Gospel Mission to aid in events such as their annual Thanksgiving dinner, annual summer BBQ (providing our train for the kids) and ongoing funding to help feed the homeless and those whom battle with addictions.

Surrey Memorial Hospital Foundation

Diamond Delivery staff proudly raised $56,000 to purchase a SIM Baby to assist the Surrey Memorial Hospital Staff in training to take the best possible care of babies.

As well, Diamond Delivery was the main sponsor for the Tulips for Tomorrow Program. Tulips for Tomorrow was created in 2007 as a way to encourage people to support Surrey Memorial Hospital and help beautify the community. The Princess Irene tulip’s distinct bright orange colouring, blended with gold and purple flames, is remarkably reminiscent of the Foundation’s logo.

A few other groups Diamond Delivery has supported over the years are as follows:

·         YMCA

·         Korle – Bu Teaching Hospital

·         Burn Unit

·         BC Children’s Hospital

SuperKids Camp 2017

Rick’s Heart Foundation had the honour of supporting children by giving them the opportunity to experience and enjoy going to SuperKids Summer Camp this year. They splashed in the lake, ran through the forest, new friendships were formed, hearts grew bigger, inspiration was felt & the list goes on. This past week was full of fun and unforgettable, lifelong memories and was made up of over 100 happy campers, 40 excellent volunteers and the Extreme Outreach team.

We are so grateful to have been able to support this wonderful cause and mission!

The kids loved the Camp and everything went very well. You can see all the pics on our Extreme Outreach Facebook here! We loved being a Superkids Hero!

Our Founder Rick Diamond and his company Diamond Delivery has partnered with Compassionate Resource Warehouse to ship a container to Kurdistan, Iraq to help the people of Mosul, Iraq. The container has been unloaded at the warehouse compound in Erbil. There is an amazing volunteer team there busy unloading and separating the items into designated destinations.

The container needed to clear a few customs and checkpoints so took a little extra time to clear. But it made it through.

We are very grateful that it made it there successfully to support the people of Mosul, Iraq.

Slo Pitch for BC Children’s Hospital
